Somewhat Shorter David Brooks

From the New York Times:

In a move so subtle not even I pick up one it, I criticize President George W. Bush, a man who has achieved absolutely nothing by dint of his own "hard work" and talents,  by suggesting the country has a problem with social mobility.

I also talk about a "hereditary meritocratic class," which shows I'm either dim or a very bad writer. Your call.
