If Republicans are to succeed in their efforts to rape Social Security, they must fool some Democrats to come along with them.

We briefly note that (a) Republicans, having majorities in both the Senate and the House, don't need a single Democratic vote and (b) that there is nothing wrong (well, nothing big) with Social Security. For more see, see here.
